Contract Engineer

Activities:
* Responsible for the timely preparation and administration of all contractual documentation related to the Contract(s) he will be in charge of, in accordance with the Project and Company procedures.
* Responsible for the management of such Contract(s) – when awarded - and of all contractual matters with the selected Contractor(s).
* Responsible for verifying that all required internal/external approvals are obtained before any external commitment is signed.

His main activities, for each managed contract, are:

Pre-qualification:

* Working in collaboration with the Technical personnel, to prepare and issue the suitable documentation for the pre qualification of bidders for Call for Tenders.

ITT Preparation:

* Preparation of ITT documentation with the necessary commercial / contractual input; compilation of the rest of the ITT documentation from the relevant personnel; checking of consistency of all ITT documentation.

Bid Analysis:

* Preparation of commercial and contractual bid analysis, compilation of the rest of bid analysis documentation required to objectively award the contracts, and negotiations with the nominated contractors’ personnel.

Contract Administration after contract award:

* Support to the Work Package Manager on Commercial/contractual matters related to the contract.

Documentation:

* Establishing the necessary systems and contract to comply with Project procedures and management requirements.

Accountabilities:

* Accountable for the preparation and management of all the contractual documentation (Pre-Qualification documents, CFT documents, analysis documents, issuance of RTA, Contract and Change Orders) related to the Contract(s) the Job Holder will be in charge of, in collaboration with the Package Manager and other relevant personnel.

Experience required:

* 10 years mini in oil & gas projects at similar position.
* The candidate will be experienced in the detailed preparation of contracts for major EPC contracts related to offshore facilities.
* Sound experience, Engineer level or equivalent.
* Fluent English mandatory.
